Abbeyvale Romeo dual registered WPCS & SPSS graded and Licensed 2012 Palomino Welsh Section D. Currently standing at 14.1hh. Romeo has a superb laid back easy going temperament, well put together with 9" of bone, straight movement and athletic jump. He is proving to be very trainable and really loves to please. His colour is outstanding with a true iridescent sheen that really gives him the wow factor. He offers a 50/50 chance of passing his cream gene on. His pedigree is littered with Welsh champions including the legendary Ebbw Victor, Ebbw Magic, Trevallion Jacks Image, Tyhen Comet, Trevallion Flash Jack and Brynymore Welsh Magic just to name a few! 

Romeo was only very lightly shown as a youngster but in his few outings showing in youngstock classes he qualified for the TSR Championships, Blue Chip Showing Championships and the Equestrian Life Magazine Showing Championships. He also came 4th at The Great Yorkshire Show in the 2/3 year old Section D colt class in 2015. Romeo successfully passed his SPSS stallion grading in October 2015 with the following scores... 37/50 for conformation, 18/20 for temperament, 34.5/50 performance and 8/10 General score. He has just started his dressage career where he is getting very positive results and comments from the judges. Romeo has just started jumping under saddle too and is proving to be very bold, brave and athletic.

Romeo's first two foals, a palomino colt and a chestnut filly have been awarded premium and higher premium awards at the Sports Pony Studbook Society grading and evaluation tours. His colt has been sold to the Sponte stud in France to join their breeding program. And his filly has been sold to a dressage home. 

Romeo is open to Welsh & non Welsh mares. A 25% stud fee discount is offered to mares who are graded or have a proven performance record. All his offspring are eligible to be registered with both the WPCS & SPSS. Romeo has proved himself to be a complete gentleman by running out with mares & foals and being very polite and kind. He covers naturally or in hand. Natural cover only is offered at £300 NFFR if mare not in foal by October 1st. T's & C's apply. Based Mirfield, W.York's.
